Illuminated Path

During a long exposure to capture the star trails through the southern sky, I quickly walked along this long forgotten road, lighting it with a small LED flashlight. The "ghostly" shape on the left side of the road is my leg, as I walked back to the camera, catching some of the light from the flashlight.

Red Rock Glow

One of my first attempts at light painting. Taken on a night with a full moon, I left the shutter open as I set off a red-gelled flash in the cracks between the boulders.
