A man-made lake and part of San Diego's reservoir system, Lake Hodges is an amazing, constantly changing area. From year to year, and even season to season, the water levels rise and fall depending on rainfall and water usage. The ever changing water level brings new foreground opportunities every time I visit. That constant feeling of discovery makes Lake Hodges one of my favorite places to visit and photograph in San Diego County.
