My Photography

You often hear wedding photographers say that their business is all about capturing the moment, but this idea isn't exclusive to that branch of photography. Photography as a whole (all of its branches, types and styles) is about "capturing a moment." The magic of photography is that you get to shape the recorded moment to your own artistic vision. You choose the moment. You choose to blur motion or stop it in its tracks. You choose to get close or to stay far away. You choose what to include within the frame and what to make the subject.

My images attempt to convey the moment as I saw it. As I felt it. If I've done my job properly, the same emotions I felt while viewing a scene will show through and you will feel the same wonder and amazement that I did in that moment. If you don't feel that, then I haven't done my job right and that's why I keep heading out, camera in hand.
