My Photography
I strive to create images that inspire or evoke an emotion or feeling within the viewer. These intended feelings or emotions differ with each image. Some invoke a feeling of peacefulness and belonging while other scenes are full of drama and tension. Each image attempts to convey what I felt as I viewed the scene, whether it demonstrates the sometimes cataclysmic power of nature, a more subtle more view of Mother Nature or the ordered rigidity of our own constructs.
Landscapes & Nature
From the sandstone-edged coastline of southern California to the grand vistas of Yosemite and the Grand Canyon, Mother Nature has created an incredible world for us to enjoy. This collection celebrates the beauty of the natural world around us.
Cityscapes
Having studied architecture in college, cityscapes and the details of our buildings have always captivated me. This collection of images captures the rhythmic order, stability and sometimes controlled chaos of the world we have constructed around ourselves.
Ruins & Remnants
Since my first visit to Mesa Verde at the age of 5, I have been drawn to and intrigued by the ruins of past civilizations. This collection of images images documents the ruins of ancient (and some not so ancient) civilizations.
